THE BATHROOM
Marni
I canât help but stare at myself in the mirror. Garrinâs thick cum drips down my chest, rolling over my nipples all the way down to my hips. I did this. I made a man cum hard and fast, using only my hands. I feel so proud, excited, and aliveâ¦and maybe a little reckless. After all, I just did something very dirty with a man who isnât my husband.
Maybe I am a whore.
A silent laugh pushes from my chest. Years of abuse, and all it took was abandoning me in the woods to turn me into the slut Chris always accused me of. The thought makes me smile wide. I just wish there was some way for the asshole to know. I want to rub it in his face. I jerk at the thought, realizing just how mean it is.
âStop thinking about him, Marni,â I whisper to myself. âHe left you to freeze to death, and no amount of spite will make it any better.â
I turn on the faucet, letting the water warm up while I grab a washcloth from under the sink. I take my time, wiping away Garrinâs orgasm. Itâs starting to dry, leaving his scent all over me. My ribs arenât as pronounced as they used to beâGarrin has been letting me eat so much. My knee-jerk reaction is to stop eating, maybe go for a run, but it makes Garrin happy to see me eat. Maybe he likes bigger girls. Or maybe he just likes to see me happy. Either way, I think I like the way I look.
I clean up as quickly as I can, excited for breakfast. Maybe afterwards, we can crawl back into bed and warm each other up.
Once Iâm happy, I place the washcloth into the sink, then grab a fresh pair of boxers and a shirt out of Garrinâs dresser. I pull the long sleeves over my hands as I open the bedroom door and step into the living room.
âGood morning, maâam.â A man in a sheriffâs uniform stands next to the fireplace. His salt-and-pepper hair is mussed as if he just took off a hat. âMy name is Sheriff Hanson, and this is Doctor Goodwin.â He motions to a woman sitting on the couch.
âPlease,â she stands, âcall me Connie.â Sheâs maybe in her forties with long blonde hair in a thick braid. It rests on one shoulder, throwing off golden highlights. âGarrin here said he found you in the woods a few days back.â She points at the shirtless mountain man standing in the kitchen. He rests his hands on the kitchen island, watching me with his soft, dark blue eyes.
Can he sense how scared I am right now?
Based on his soft expression and down-turned eyes, I think he can. âItâs okay,â he whispers.
âCan you tell us what happened to you?â Sheriff Hanson asks, hitching his thumbs on the edge of his belt. He has a big black gun that hangs heavy on one hip and a black pouch with silver handcuffs poking out of the top.
